Had an idea this morning, might be equivalent to "trolling", we'll see.

If we ever get a gig which is more heavily skewed towards canon representations, it might be a timesaver to start thinking about who you or others could "be" in a pinch. I know we pride ourselves (as does most SaberWars members) on our non-canon characters, but if it helps to get us into a con, I can put it aside temporarily. I'm not so much concerned with the costumes itself (which could cost a pretty penny) but what Jedi from canon you think you could conceivably look like (no Jabba jokes, etc.)

Now, I'm no expert on canon Jedi, but I think I could possibly pull off Yun from SW: Jedi Knight II.

Hell, while I'm at it, DJ could probably do Kyle Katarn.

Any other ideas?

Yeah, see, I knew this thread could potentially cause offense, but I posted it anyways. Bad me. (not that I think that anyone's offended so far, I don't think?...)

Fact is, you never know what people can pull off. We saw this black dude at Wizard World with a great Darth Maul costume (I don't remember if he was with 501st or what). I was however thinking only of body type and overall "look" when I started this thread.

Yes, he's male, but he's a long-haired Asian-looking male (based on a real-life Asian dude). If I grew my hair out, this is probably the closest I can do.

If worrying about race isn't an issue, I'm willing to be any number of other Jedi. With my hair at its current length (or a bit shorter) I could probably do Episode III Anakin. I had years of being an emo teenager as character background practice.

Dude no you're fine. Sure, in game he looks really skinny, but that's because of bad graphics... in the cutscenes, though... you're fine
